Ancestral Homes


This is Studhaugh a farmhouse in the county of Suffolk,England in which my Fiske ancestors lived from the Middle Ages until the 16th century. They had lived on the site since around 1208 or earlier.


Babingley Hall in County Norfolk, England where my great grandfather Frederick Bradfield was born and brought up.

These are two examples of photographs I have taken of houses my ancestors have lived in.
Houses are perhaps the best example of places
which bring to life the world of our ancestors.
